Summary:
The brake pads of the TKT series are used to stop and hold the shafts of lifting mechanisms in a braked state, in the state of an idle engine. The TKT brake is installed in a vertical position, the location of the brake pulley axis and the base of the brake attachment is horizontal.
TKT brakes are used in the mechanisms of the following industries in a fire-safe environment: mining, metallurgy, and other industries.
AC and DC brakes, with a pulley of the same diameter, have a mechanical part, which is designated by the letters TC and the number corresponding to the diameter of the brake pulley. Crane brakes from TKT-100 to TKT-300 are activated using an alternating current electromagnet of the MO type.
In electromagnets, MO coils are designed: for alternating current voltage of 220 Volts, 380 Volts, 500 Volts; for direct current of 220 Volts and 440 Volts. Electromagnets are designed for repeated short-term operation (PV no more than 40%) and allow no more than 300 inclusions per hour.
The brake devices of the TKT series are distinguished by the following features:
Guaranteed interchangeability.
A high braking torque, which does not depend on the direction of rotation, and is provided by the optimal geometry of the lever mechanism.
The simplicity of adjustments, as well as the possibility of changing brake pads without resorting to disassembly of the brake.
