Summary: The Ed series crane motor thruster is a normally closed design with power on release and power-off hold. If the reverse logic of "power on hold and power-off release" is required on site, YT1 is also not applicable and needs to be replaced with the Ed series or equipped with a reverse control valve. When renovating old equipment, replacing Ed with YT1 requires modifying the base plate, connecting rod, and stroke, which requires a considerable amount of work.

Technical source: The Ed series crane motor thruster adopts German EMG technology, which complies with DIN15430 and JB/T10603-2006 standards; The YT1 series crane motor thruster is domestically designed and benchmarked against the old JB/T standards.
Shell material: The Ed series crane motor thruster is made of aluminum alloy shell, fully sealed structure, and lightweight; The YT1 series crane motor thruster is a cast iron shell with a large weight.
Protection level: Ed generally reaches IP65, while YT1 is mostly IP54.
Installation method: Ed with balanced air chamber, supporting 0-180 ° multi angle installation; YT1 is mainly installed vertically and cannot be inverted.
Factory status: Ed is filled with oil upon leaving the factory, while YT1 does not contain hydraulic oil and needs to be refilled by oneself.
Supporting brake system: Ed is compatible with new brake systems such as YWZ5 and YWZ9; YT1 is mainly equipped with old brake models such as YWZ4 and YWZB.
