Jib Cylinder Motor Brake Caliper

     Brake caliper: a clamp shaped fixed bracket spanning both sides of the brake disc, equipped with brake pads and actuating devices inside.
     Brake pad: composed of friction material and metal backing plate, each brake generally has 2-4, which is a component that directly generates braking force by friction with the brake disc.
     Driving device: namely hydraulic cylinder (cylinder) and piston, which push the brake pad to press the brake disc through hydraulic pressure. ‌‌
Classified by brake caliper structure:
     The caliper disc brake is divided into two types according to the brake caliper structure:
     Fixed caliper disc: The brake caliper is fixed, and both sides of the brake disc are equipped with hydraulic cylinders and pistons. The structure is complex and is now less commonly used.
     Floating caliper disc: Only hydraulic cylinders are installed on the inner side of the brake disc, and the brake caliper body can slide along the axial direction of the guide pin. The outer brake pad is attached to the caliper body. Simple and compact structure, currently the most widely used.
