1) Core material parameters:
The most commonly used material for brake discs is gray cast iron HT250, with specific parameter requirements specified
Key chemical components: Carbon C (3.1~3.4)%, Silicon Si (1.9~2.3)%, Manganese Mn (0.6~0.9)%
Mechanical properties: Tensile strength ≥ 206MPa, flexural strength ≥ 1000MPa, deflection ≥ 5.1mm, hardness 187~241HBS
Special working conditions can also use alloy cast iron with added Cr and Ni to enhance durability.
In high-end scenarios, ceramic or high carbon dual aluminum alloy materials are selected to balance lightweight and high temperature resistance.
2) Advantages of disc structure:
Compared to traditional block brakes, disc brake discs have obvious advantages: strong heat dissipation ability, no thermal degradation phenomenon, and stable braking performance;
The adjustable range of braking torque is large, and the braking is smooth and reliable;
Good dust and water resistance, easy to throw away dirt, only 1-2 brakes are needed to restore performance after getting wet, good heat dissipation, very suitable for the frequent braking needs of crane trolleys.
3) Characteristics:
The braking unit is integrated into the built-in module of the reducer, and the car braking is mainly electric braking. The mechanical braking only operates when the operating speed is less than 3% of the rated speed, which can reduce excessive wear on the brake disc.
The reducer also has a manual brake release function, which is convenient for maintenance and repair.
The braking unit of the operating mechanism of gantry cranes is mostly a small disc brake, with short axial dimensions and compact structure.
The brake end cover is shared with the motor, and the components are concentrated, making maintenance and replacement more convenient.
