Rail Clamp of Storm

The windproof braking of rail clamp is connected with the locomotive through the hole at the rear end of the clamp shaft. When the locomotive moves, dragging (pushing) the rail clamp moves synchronously, the guide wheel can roll along the serpentine track under the weight pressure of the rail clamp, and drive the rail clamp to float along the track surface on the fixed shaft through the guide wheel support and the guide clamp shaft.

Introduction:

     When the main engine is shut down, the rail claming device automatically clamps the rails to ensure that the main engine is not blown away by strong wind. When the main engine needs to move, the hydraulic device opens the clamp to ensure that the main engine runs freely on the track.

Product application

     Spring type rail clamping device is a safety device to prevent the rail crane from moving freely along the rail direction. It is applicable to large freight yards,various bridge and gantry cranes. When the main engine is shut down, the rail claming device automatically clamps the rails to ensure that the main engine is not blown away by strong wind. When the main engine needs to move, the hydraulic device opens the clamp to ensure that the main engine runs freely on the track.

Main features

     The clamping force of the spring type rail clamp takes the spring as kinetic energy to clamp the rail through the beam,contecting rod and clamp.

     The opening of the rail clamping device jaw depends on its own hydraulic system. Its working mode is: through the rail clamping device control curcuit, before the main machine travelling mechanism starts to travel, only the power supply of the oil pump motor and solenoid valve of the rail clamping deviceis connected to let hydraulic oil enter the front chamber of the oil cylinder, push the piston, compress the spring, and open the jaw. 

      After the nipper leg is fully opened, the power supply of the oil pump motor is cut off by the limit switch (the solenoid valve remains energized), and the linage circuit of the crane travelling motor is connected, and the crane starts to travel. 

      After the power of the oil pump motor is cut off, the hydraulic system ensures that the jaw is always open due to the pressure maintaining effect of the one-way valve and the solenoid valve.

Use condition

     Ambient temparture:-20 ℃~50 ℃

     The altitude of the place of use shall comply with GB755-2008.

     Working power supply: three-phase AC power supply AC380V,50Hz. Please specify other voltage or frequency products when ordering.

      The surrounding working enviroment shall be free of flammable explosive and corrosive gases, and the relative humidity of the air shall not be greater than 90%.

Service conditions:

     ✬ Motor power: 5.5kW;

     ✬ Applicable track: according to the model specified by the customer (qu120 ~ QU80);

     ✬ The oil pump motor of windproof brake shall be started and replenished no more than 2 times per hour.
