Overview:

     The AC type electromagnetic block brake belongs to the normally closed brake, mainly used for operating frequent and fast starting mechanical equipment.
     When the equipment is running, the electromagnetic iron is energized, and the movable armature is engaged to release the brake; When the machine stops, the electromagnet loses power and the spring force keeps the brake in a tight state.
     This type of brake has a simple structure and reliable operation. Its electromagnetic coil is usually made of pure copper material. Usually installed on the high-speed shaft of the equipment.

     Normally closed structure: power on release, power off automatic brake (relying on spring force), ensuring the safety of the equipment in case of power loss.
     Widely used: Suitable for deceleration or parking of various types of machinery in industries such as lifting, transportation, mining, metallurgy, and construction.
     Driving method: Using AC electromagnetic drive, suitable for AC power supply systems.

Working principle:

     It is a normally closed brake that uses an electromagnet as its power source. When the device is powered on, the electromagnetic coil generates a magnetic field, attracts the armature and compresses the spring, causing the brake block to detach from the brake drum and achieve free operation of mechanical components;

     When the power is cut off, the spring force quickly pushes the brake pad to press the brake drum, forming a braking torque. 

     This "power-off braking" design significantly improves the safety of the equipment, especially in the event of sudden power outages, which can take immediate effect and avoid the risk of rolling or losing control.
