Wind turbine caliper disc brake is mainly used for yaw brake and rotor brake of wind turbine. It is also widely used for deceleration brake and parking brake of various mechanical drives in lifting and transportation, port loading and unloading, engineering vehicles, metallurgy, cable, sling equipment and other industries.

A scientific basis for introduction
    ◇Essential components: hydraulic station; yaw gear; yaw friction plate

    ◇Distinctive features: high-performance in friction material; convenient in installation; well-knit in structure

    ◇Instruction for use: Before installing the brake, the brake disc must be cleaned of oil contamination, because any residual oil contamination will significantly reduce the friction coefficient of the friction plate in the brake;

     Secondly, exhaust valve of the brake has been fastened before leaving the factory. If the direction of the exhaust valve and the oil inlet needs to be changed in the field installation, it should be ensured that the joint of the exhaust valve, and the oil inlet after the direction change is sealed and no oil leakage is allowed. 

     If necessary, the new copper pad can be replaced. Immediately, when assembling or changing the hydraulic system of the brake, the exhaust valve must be used to exhaust to ensure that there is no air in the system.

    ◇Extra Service: By stimulating more usage, we will provide a fresh guarantee that when the thickness of the friction material of the friction plate is 3 mm, our company will urge the user to replace the friction plate in time; we bear the heavy responsibility to retrofit driving brakes with additional elements.

     Braking force = 1350 x pressure (pressure ≤ 200bar)

Main features:

    1) Adopt fixed installation design;

    2) Normally open design, hydraulic power units driving and braking, fast action, safe and reliable;

    3) High performance friction material, good temperature resistance and stable friction coefficient;

    4) Small braking clearance, short reaction time and faster braking;

    5) Oil leakage port is set on the wind turbine caliper disc brake to avoid polluting the brake disc in case of oil leakage, which is safer and more reliable.

Service conditions:

    1) The ambient temperature shall be: - 25 ℃ - 40 ℃

    2) The operating frequency is less than 720c / h.

    3) The altitude of the place of use shall not exceed 2000m.

    4) There is no explosive medium in the surrounding working environment, as well as gas and conductive dust sufficient to corrode metal and damage insulation.

    5) It can be used indoors where the relative humidity of the air is not more than 90% or under rain and snow proof devices.

    6) The power supply voltage is dc110v or dc220v. If the user has special requirements, please negotiate and determine when ordering.

Additional points:

    1) Wind turbine generator caliper brake uses the pressure control device to adjust and control the corresponding pressure to produce braking;

    2) The brake can be equipped with a pad wear automatic adjustment device and a pad reset system;

    3) The brake can be equipped with a special device "Ga" to eliminate the vibration caused by very low speed.
