Overview

The crane rope guide is an auxiliary component on the electric hoist wire rope, mainly used to guide the winding of the wire rope on the drum, and effectively prevent the winding, jumping, deformation and accelerated wear of the wire rope, thereby improving the safety of the wire rope and extending its service life.

CTECH Machinery Sdn Bhd mainly produces guiding device for circular cast iron rope, which have been applied in the wire rope electric hoists, bridge cranes, overhead cranes and other special lifting equipment.

Classifications

1) Circular rope guide for single speed and dual speed electric hoists;

2) The rope guide used for the pressure wheel of the wire rope electric hoist

Working principle

When the drum rotates, the rope guide of the crane follows the winding of the steel wire rope and is driven by the threaded groove to move axially, accurately guiding the wound steel wire rope into and out of the spiral groove of the drum at any time. The steel wire rope is discharged from the gap of the rope guide.

The guide nut is engaged with the rope groove of the drum, and the drum rotates to drive the guide nut to move laterally to ensure that the steel wire rope does not get tangled in the rope groove of the drum.

The guide rope plate moves laterally towards both ends of the drum. When it reaches the limit position, it drives the limit rod installed on the drum shell to move together.

When it reaches the limit position, it triggers the limit switch on the main motor of the installation belt, thereby playing a limiting role.

Features

1) The design of the rope guide is based on various drum sizes and tilt angles, and allows for the installation of new options and functions on the equipment, such as drum cleaning devices, anti pull devices, and wire rope measuring devices.

2) It is possible to adapt to different cranes and hoists by adjusting the diameter of the drum rope guide.

3) The roller can rotate smoothly, effectively reducing the wear and tear of the drum and rope guide, thereby extending its service life.

4) The quality is rigorously controlled to adapt to various harsh application environments.

Optional material

1) Nylon rope guide: suitable for environments that require better durability, impact resistance, and wear resistance.

2) Steel welding rope guide: commonly used in specific models of electric hoists.

3) Explosion proof rope guide:meet specific explosion-proof working environments.

Key technical parameters

1) Rated Speed:

In a 1:1 system, the traction ratio is 0.25-2.5 meters per second.

In a 2:1 system, the traction ratio is usually 0.125-1.25 meters per second.

2) Rated load:

In a 1:1 system, the traction ratio is usually 500-1600 kilograms.

In a 2:1 system, the traction ratio is usually 1000-3200 kilograms.

3) System mass:

In a 1:1 system, the traction ratio is usually 1946-5200 kilograms.

In a 2:1 system, the traction ratio is usually 3892-10400 kilograms.

4) Traction wire rope diameter: typically in the range of 8-16 millimeters.

5) Traction ratio:

1: 1 and 2:1

Practical use

1) Single beam bridge crane

2) Double beam bridge crane

CTECH rope guide installed at 10t overhead crane for TNB sub station. The rope guide ensure smooth rotation of wire rope and prevents wire rope from overlapping
