Summary: Shoe brakes are designed for installation on lifting and transport machines, winches, conveyors, and other mechanisms with a horizontal brake pulley axis.
The TKG-600 shoe brake is used in cargo winches, as well as for holding pulleys in the lifting and transport, metallurgical, road construction, warehouse and other equipment industries.
The pulley is held in place by the pressing action of the brake pads; after applying voltage to the pusher, the pads move apart and the pulley can rotate freely.
Each brake shoe of the TKG-600 has two friction brake linings that fit tightly to the pulley during operation.
The brake brand corresponds to the diameter of the pulley that the brake must hold, i.e. the brake pulley must have a diameter of 600 mm.
The TKG-600 brake is equipped with a TE-160, TE-150, or TE-200 hydraulic pusher. The brake's design is essentially unchanged from other brakes in the TKG series; it differs only in its larger dimensions.
