Summary: The electromagnetic power-off brake is a safety device that automatically brakes when the power is turned off and only rotates when the power is turned on. It relies on spring force to brake and electromagnetic force to release, preventing the danger of accidental falling.
How to operate:
When powered on, the coil generates magnetic force to attract the armature, compress the spring, and separate the friction plates, allowing the shaft to rotate freely.
When the power is cut off: the magnetic force disappears, the spring rebounds, compresses the friction plate, and generates friction to quickly stop the shaft.
Function:
Fault protection: In case of power outage or malfunction, the automatic brake will be applied to prevent the equipment from slipping out of control.
Fast response: millisecond level action, fast and reliable braking, and compact structure.
Purpose:
Vertical equipment: elevators, cranes, to prevent power outages and injuries caused by falling from the elevator.
Automated machinery: robots, servo motors, achieve precise positioning and parking.
