Summary: Tower cranes, with their large operating space and wide coverage, are suitable for lifting equipment and components with long operating cycles and a large quantity but relatively small individual weight on construction sites.
The installation of tower cranes is a high-risk sub project that must strictly follow the principle of plan before operation. It should be implemented by units with professional contracting qualifications for lifting equipment installation engineering, and a special construction plan should be prepared.
Standard installation process (taking common internal climbing/attachment type as an example)
Installation of foundation section and frame: Lift the foundation section onto the embedded parts and calibrate the verticality with a theodolite (deviation ≤ 1/500);
Assemble the climbing frame and hydraulic system on the ground, insert them outside the foundation section, and adjust the roller clearance to 2-5mm.
Installation of rotary assembly: Assemble the upper and lower supports, rotary bearings, and rotary mechanism as a whole on the ground, lift them to the top of the foundation section, connect them with high-strength bolts, and tighten them (to the specified torque).
Installation of tower top and driver's cab: Lift the tower top (pay attention to aligning the direction with the lifting arm side), and then install the driver's cab to the designated position on the lower or upper support.
Installation of balance arm: Assemble the balance arm and hoisting mechanism on the ground, install the pull rod after hoisting in place, first install a counterweight (strictly prohibited from exceeding the limit), and do not install the rest of the counterweights temporarily.
Installation of crane arm: Assemble the crane arm and variable amplitude trolley in sequence on the ground, and thread the traction rope;
Use an auxiliary crane to lift smoothly, maintain a level position, connect the root pin shaft, lift the arm head, install the lifting arm rod and tighten it, and finally slowly lower it to apply force to the rod.
Install remaining counterweights: Calculate the required counterweights based on the length of the crane arm, lift the remaining counterweights and secure them in place.
Wire rope threading and electrical connection: Thread and thread the lifting wire rope, connect the cables of various mechanisms, and connect the power supply.
2、 Top lift and joint (if height needs to be increased)
Balance: Move the variable amplitude trolley to the lifting balance position specified in the manual, lock the rotary brake, and ensure that the upper center of gravity falls on the centerline of the oil cylinder.
Lifting operation: Lift the standard section to the introduction platform, remove the connecting bolts between the lower support and the tower body, use hydraulic lifting to lift the frame slightly above half the height of the section, retract the oil cylinder after the climbing claw is stable, introduce the standard section and align it, and connect the high-strength bolts.
Continuous addition: Each additional section requires re tightening of the bolts. During continuous addition, except for the first section, which requires double nuts, single nuts can be used in subsequent sections, but the connection must be reliable.
Taboo: It is strictly prohibited to rotate the lifting arm, start the trolley, or perform lifting operations during the lifting process.
