Cantilever Crane Magnet Brake

Core installation position of electromagnetic brake for crane:
     Lifting mechanism: installed at the non shaft extension end (tail) of the main hook or auxiliary hook lifting motor, its core function is to automatically brake when power is cut off, prevent heavy objects from sliding down due to gravity (anti slip hook), and ensure lifting safety.
     Crane operating mechanism: installed at the end of the motor shaft that drives the crane to move, used for rapid stopping and precise alignment of the overall movement of the crane.
     Car operating mechanism: installed at the end of the motor shaft that drives the lateral movement of the car, to achieve smooth start stop and fixed-point stopping of the car on the track. ‌‌
Application scenarios and principles:
     Safety and Life Preservation: Adopting the design of "power on release, power off hold", once the power is cut off or the power is urgently cut off, the spring force immediately pushes the brake pad to press the brake wheel, eliminating the risk of heavy objects falling.
     Precise control: With the cooperation of a frequency converter or controller, micro positioning can be achieved at low speeds to reduce load shaking and meet the high-precision requirements of industrial lifting.
     Applicable models: widely seen in the lifting systems of various types of lifting machinery such as bridge cranes, gantry cranes, and cantilever cranes, including large and small vehicles and auxiliary hooks. Short stroke models are mostly used for mechanisms with small lifting capacity or frequent movements. ‌‌
