Summary: The crane coupling is installed at the connection between the two shafts in the power transmission chain, with the core position between the motor and the reducer, and between the reducer output shaft and the drum (or wheel).
The crane coupling produced by CTECH Machinery SDN BHD is mainly used to connect the motor/reducer with the actuator (drum, wheel, slewing support), transmitting torque and compensating for axis deviation in the three major mechanisms of lifting, operation, and slewing.
Core application scenarios:
Lifting mechanism: Connect the output shaft of the reducer to the wire rope drum, transmit lifting torque and bear radial loads (commonly used drum couplings, gear couplings); In heavy load impact conditions such as metallurgy, some use universal couplings instead to eliminate gap impact.
Operating mechanism: Connect the reducer to the wheel set, drive the large or small vehicle to move, compensate for installation errors and axis offsets caused by uneven tracks (commonly used gear couplings, elastic pin couplings).
Rotary mechanism: Connect the rotary reducer to the upper rotating part, adapt to angle changes during the rotation process, and prevent overload damage (commonly used extreme torque couplings, universal couplings, or gear couplings).
