The electromagnetic disc brake produced by CTECH Machinery SDN BHD is mainly composed of core components such as electromagnetic coil, armature, brake disc, brake pad, spring assembly, bracket, etc. The various components work together to ensure the stability and reliability of the braking process.
Electromagnetic coil: As the power source of the brake, it generates electromagnetic attraction after being powered on, drives the armature to move, and achieves the release of the brake; After the power is cut off, the electromagnetic attraction disappears, and the braking is completed by relying on the spring force.
The coil winding is made of materials with high temperature resistance and excellent insulation performance, ensuring stability under long-term high-frequency operation.
Armature: located above the electromagnetic coil, it can move up and down along the guiding structure under the action of electromagnetic attraction. The flatness, rigidity, and magnetic conductivity of the armature directly affect the braking response speed and stability of the braking clearance.
Brake disc: usually connected to the transmission shaft or wheel hub of the equipment, it is the component that bears the braking torque. The surface of the brake disc is precision machined to ensure a snug fit with the brake pads, reducing impact and noise during braking. Some high-performance brake discs are also made of wear-resistant and heat-resistant materials to enhance their service life.
Brake pad: equipped with friction lining with high friction coefficient and good wear resistance, it is a component that directly contacts the brake disc to generate braking force. The material selection of friction lining should be determined according to the load, speed, and temperature requirements of the braking scenario, to ensure that there is no slipping during the braking process and to reduce wear on the brake disc.
Spring components: including brake spring and reset spring. The brake spring provides the necessary compression force for braking, while the reset spring drives the armature and brake pad to reset when the brake is released, ensuring consistent braking clearance. The elastic coefficient of the spring is accurately calculated to ensure stable and adjustable braking force.
Bracket: used to fix electromagnetic coils, guiding structures, and other components, providing support and positioning. The bracket is made of high-strength steel, which has sufficient rigidity and load-bearing capacity to effectively resist the impact force generated during the braking process.
