Nacelle yaw Wind Turbine Gear Brake

     The yaw brake produced by CTECH Machinery SDN BHD is specifically designed for the yaw system of wind turbines. 
     The core installation position is on the outer ring of the rotary bearing (large gear ring) at the bottom of the nacelle at the top of the tower, which works in conjunction with the yaw drive gear.
     Main application scenarios and functions:
     Positioning locking: After the cabin is adjusted for wind, the brake clamps the brake disc and fixes the cabin position to prevent accidental deflection caused by wind loads.
     Yaw damping: When actively yawing under wind direction fluctuations or extreme wind speeds, it provides adjustable damping torque to suppress cabin oscillation, protect gears from alternating stress damage, and avoid overall resonance.
     Safety redundancy: Assist in preventing excessive rotation of the engine compartment under certain operating conditions (non primary means of shutdown, emergency shutdown is handled by the high-speed shaft brake.
