Tower Shaft Drum Caliper Brake

     The core of the fail safe brake (normally closed safety brake) produced by CTECH Machinery SDN BHD is used in emergency safety scenarios where "power interruption means automatic brake holding". It serves as the last line of defense to prevent load falling, equipment loss of control, or sports car accidents, and is not used as a daily frequent start stop working brake.
Main application industries and equipment:
     Lifting machinery: bridge/gantry cranes, port gantry cranes, lifting mechanisms for container loading and unloading equipment, low-speed shafts (drum end) for amplitude and pitch mechanisms; Emergency locking of heavy objects when the main working brake fails.
     Mine hoisting system: mine shaft/inclined shaft hoist, mining winch, large angle belt conveyor, to prevent the risks of running cars and slipping materials.
     Wind power equipment: Wind turbine yaw system to prevent tower rotation from losing control.
     Metallurgy and heavy industry: casting cranes (high-temperature heavy-duty), large stacker reclaimers, hydraulic gate opening and closing machines, and safe parking of continuous casting rollers.
     Special Transportation and Cableway: Passenger Cableway, Cable Crane Drive Drum; Parking brake for large construction machinery.
Other high security level scenarios: high-altitude work platforms, some medical equipment (relying on the power-off feature).
