Production structure and working principle
This series of brakes consists of a yoke body, an excitation coil, a spring, a brake disc, an armature, a spline sleeve, and a manual release device.It is Installed on the rear end cover of the motor (or on the flange of the equipment), adjust the mounting screw to make the air gap to the specified value; the spline sleeve is fixed on the shaft, and the brake disc can slide axially on the spline sleeve, when braking can produce a braking torque.
When the coil of the brake is energized, the coil generates a magnetic field, and the armature is magnetically attracted to the yoke, and the armature is disengaged from the brake disc. At this time, the brake disc is driven by the motor shaft to rotate normally; when the coil is powered off, the magnetic field disappears, and the armature Pushed to the brake disc by the force of the spring, friction torque is generated to brake.
The armature can also be released by pulling the "manual release device" or tightening the "screw release device", which is convenient for installation and adjustment of the equipment.
