Summary:
Competitive Edges of Drum Coupling of Crane Hoisting Mechanism
The drum coupling in crane hoist mechanism is a new type of flexible coupling, primarily used for connecting the reducer output shaft of the lifting mechanism of lifting equipment with the steel wire rope drum. It can also be used in mechanical equipment that transmits torque and bears radial loads, with a working temperature range of -25°C to +80°C.
Its nominal torque transmission range is 16-560 kN·m, and the permissible radial load is 18-355 kN. It is compatible with ordinary shaft-extension reducers to reduce equipment costs.
The drum coupling in crane hoist mechanism consists of an outer gear sleeve with drum-shaped teeth, an outer sleeve with a flange, a load-bearing ring, and a sealing assembly. Torque is transmitted through the drum-shaped teeth, and the outer spherical load-bearing ring forms an automatic alignment contact pair with the outer sleeve to bear radial loads
With its compact structure, excellent positioning performance, wear indicator function, and modular design, the drum coupling in crane hoist mechanism can compensate for axial misalignment and eliminate additional bending moments caused by machining and assembly errors, thereby enhancing the service life of the gear shaft.
