Summary: The pedal frequency conversion drum brake is an industrial braking equipment that achieves precise torque adjustment through frequency conversion technology.
Working Principle:
Signal acquisition: The operator changes the stepping amplitude through the foot pedal controller and outputs the corresponding electrical signal (such as through a Hall switch or potentiometer).
Frequency conversion: The variable frequency speed controller changes the frequency of the output voltage based on the input electrical signal.
Thrust regulation: The motor speed of the PEd variable frequency thruster changes with frequency, thereby altering the thrust generated.
Flexible braking: The braking torque is linearly proportional to the depth of the foot pedal, achieving "soft braking" from deceleration to parking and reducing mechanical impact.
Main application scenarios:
This type of brake is mainly used for lifting equipment that requires high-precision control and smooth parking:
Rotating mechanism: such as the boom rotation of gantry cranes and tower cranes.
Operating mechanism: The driving mechanism for the large and small vehicles of a bridge crane or gantry crane, used for smooth deceleration.
Multi machine synchronization: When multiple driving devices need to brake synchronously, the frequency conversion system can provide consistent torque feedback.
