Application of Foundry Crane Coupling

Brief introduction:    

     Claw type elastic couplings are mainly used in crane trolleys to connect drive motors and reducers, or to connect reducers and the transmission shaft of wheel groups, in order to achieve power transmission and compensate for installation errors, thermal deformation, and vibration impacts during operation. Its applicability and selection need to be combined with the specific working conditions of the crane trolley.
Main application scenarios:
     Running mechanism transmission: connect the motor of the trolley running mechanism to the output shaft of the reducer, or the transmission shaft between the reducer and the wheel set, to compensate for axial, radial, or angular offsets caused by uneven tracks and installation errors.
     Brake function integration: some crane trolleys use elastic couplings with brake wheel  to quickly brake in case of power failure or emergency, preventing the trolley from slipping and ensuring operational safety.  ‌
     Vibration reduction and buffering: absorb the impact loads generated during the starting, braking, and operation of the car, and protect key components such as motors and reducers
