Bridge Crane Current Collector

     The collector of a double beam crane is mainly classified according to its structural form and contact method:
     1. Classified by contact method
Sliding contact type: The electric brush and guide rail (such as sliding contact wire) maintain sliding friction contact, with a simple structure and low cost, suitable for general working conditions.
     Rolling contact type: using rollers to roll in contact with guide rails to reduce wear, suitable for high-speed, heavy-duty, or frequent start stop situations.
     2. Classified by main structural form
Single arm type: compact structure, suitable for environments with limited space or underground.
     Double arm type: better stability, commonly used in situations with high ground overhead lines.
     Diamond shaped (multi arm) design: With a large contact area and more stable conductivity, it is suitable for scenarios with high current and high reliability requirements.
     3. Subdivision by application scenario and material (common types in industry)
In practical applications of double beam cranes, they are often distinguished by conductor type and carbon brush material:
     Rigid body current collector: used for steel sliding contact wire systems, high temperature resistant, high copper content sliding blocks, suitable for harsh environments such as metallurgy and forging.
     H-type aluminum sliding wire collector: suitable for light to medium load conditions, divided into ordinary carbon brushes, high-quality carbon brushes, high copper carbon brushes and other grades.
    Angle steel sliding contact wire matching collector: with high mechanical strength, suitable for large-span and high current applications.
