Caliper Rotor Brake Pusher

     The electric hydraulic thruster of a gantry crane is a compact drive control device that integrates an electric motor, a centrifugal oil pump, and an oil cylinder.

Core working principle:
     Power up (release): When the thruster is powered on, its built-in asynchronous motor drives the centrifugal pump to rotate, injecting low-pressure oil from the impeller area into the high-pressure area of the oil cylinder below the piston.

     The oil pressure pushes the piston and connecting rod to move vertically and upward rapidly, overcoming the force of the brake spring, releasing the brake and allowing the machinery to operate.
     Power off falling (holding brake): When the power is cut off or a fault occurs, the motor stops running and the oil pump stops supplying oil. 

     The piston returns downward under the pressure of the external connecting rod mechanical brake spring force (or self weight), draining the oil back to the low-pressure chamber, and the brake quickly locks to achieve safe braking. This is also a typical normally closed normal protection design.
