Overview:
     Mine hoist is the core transportation equipment that connects underground and surface in mining engineering. It is mainly used for lifting coal, ore, gangue and other materials in vertical and inclined shafts, as well as for personnel lifting and material transportation.  
     Mine hoists mainly include bucket hoists and mine hoists. The bucket elevator drives the hopper to vertically transport powdered, granular or small block materials through a traction component, and has the characteristics of large conveying capacity and high lifting height.  
     Mine hoists are classified into single rope winding type and multi rope friction type according to their working modes, and are key equipment for mining production. Its technology is developing towards automation and intelligence.
Working principle of mine hoist:
     The mine hoist mainly drives the drum to wrap the steel wire rope (single rope/multi rope winding type) through the driving device, or drives the steel wire rope (multi rope friction type) through the friction wheel relying on friction force, thereby pulling the lifting container to move up and down along the wellbore, completing the lifting task of materials, personnel or equipment.
     Its electrical control system has undergone technological evolution from relay control to programmable logic controller (PLC) control, from series resistance speed regulation to variable frequency speed regulation.
    In order to adapt to complex working conditions such as deep wells and heavy loads, a multi rope winding (Breuer type) hoist has emerged, which adopts a double drum multi-layer winding tailless rope design to solve the problem of excessive tension changes in the steel wire rope during deep well lifting.  
     In addition, the permanent magnet built-in hoist integrates the rotor of the permanent magnet synchronous motor with the friction wheel, achieving mechatronics integration and having the advantages of compact structure and high efficiency.
