Application of Conveyor Crane EB Thrustor

     Electro Hydraulic EB Thruster is an essential driving and safety control component in industrial heavy machinery such as blowers, cranes, and conveyor belts.
     Its core function is to convert electrical energy into hydraulic thrust, mainly used to release industrial brakes (brakes), and to achieve safe braking through springs when power is cut off.
1. Core working principle
     It is equipped with an electric motor and impeller inside. After being powered on, the electric motor rotates to drive hydraulic oil, generating pressure and pushing the piston rod to extend. This mechanical movement will push open the brake pads, thereby releasing the brake drum or brake disc.
     Once there is a power outage or malfunction, the thrust disappears, and the built-in spring will automatically return to its original position and close the brake. This normally closed design ensures absolute safety of the equipment in emergency situations or power outages.
2. Main application scenarios
    1) EB thrusters are widely used in various harsh working conditions due to their durability, maintenance free, and high cycle rate (up to 2000 cycles per hour):
    2) Port cranes and container cranes: used for smooth braking and positioning of main cranes, jib cranes, and bridge cranes.
    3) Steel plants and metallurgy: working or maintaining brakes in high temperature and heavy load environments as conveyors and rolling mills.
    4) Mining and material handling: used for industrial winches and inclined conveyors to prevent materials from slipping under the action of gravity.
    5) Large scale event structure: used for locking and braking movable bridges and stage machinery.
