Summary: ТКГ brake assemblies are designed for stopping and holding the mechanism shafts in place during braked condition with non-operated driving gear. These brake assemblies can be mounted on handling machinery that is operating in fire-safe and explosion-proof environments.
Introduction:
The brake shoe is designed to stop and hold mechanisms shafts (mainly handling machines) in a braked state with non-operating drive. The brakes are installed in a vertical position (horizontal position of the brake pulley axis and a base for mounting the brakes) on the mechanisms operatingin fire risk environment.
When installed on the mechanisms working outdoors, the brakes must be protected by a casing from falling rain and the action of solar radiation.
TKG series brakes are supplied assembled with TE series hydraulic tappets . Size correspondence:
TKG-160 → TE-30
TKG-200 → TE-30
TKG-300 → TE-50
TKG-400 → TE-80
TKG-500 → TE-80.
All components are interchangeable within the series. TE hydraulic tappets are available separately for replacement or repair.
