Summary: The Solenoid Cantilever Crane Brake adopts a normally closed design, and its core structure consists of four parts: electromagnetic drive device, brake arm assembly, brake shoe system, and machine base.
Core structure composition:
1) DC electromagnet part: including DC brake coil, static iron core (magnetic yoke), and dynamic iron core (armature). After the coil is energized, it generates magnetic force to attract the armature, overcoming the spring force to release the brake; When the power is cut off, the magnetic force disappears, and the braking is implemented by resetting with the force of the spring.
2) Brake arm and transmission mechanism: composed of left and right brake arms, brake shoe frames, and connecting pin shafts. The main swing hinge points are usually equipped with self-lubricating bearings to improve transmission efficiency and avoid maintenance.
3) Brake shoe system: including brake shoes and brake pads on both sides. The pad is mostly made of asbestos free material and installed on the brake shoe through a slot type integral molding structure, making it easy to replace quickly.
4) Brake spring component: The main brake spring is usually arranged in a square tube and equipped with a ruler, which not only protects the spring from pollution and damage, but also facilitates adjusting the braking torque.
5) Machine base and auxiliary devices: including a fixed base, a back cover (which can be opened for coil replacement), as well as an interlocking distance equalization device and a tile automatic positioning device, ensuring that the brake shoes on both sides have consistent distance and the armature fits well.
Structural Work:
1) Power on state: DC input coil → armature attraction → compression brake spring → pulling brake arm open → brake shoe disengages from brake wheel → mechanical free operation.
2) Power off state: Cut off power → disappearance of electromagnetic force → reset thrust of brake spring → push brake arm to close → brake shoe presses brake wheel → generate friction torque to achieve braking.
