Summary:
Practicality of EOT Gantry Crane Hook

The hook of a bridge crane is the core component connecting the load to the crane's rope or chain. Its function lies in safely and efficiently grasping, lifting, lowering, and handling various loads. Through the coordination or independent use of the main hook and auxiliary hook (or specialized lifting devices), it achieves precise positioning and transfer of general items and bulk materials (such as coils, pipes, and steel).
Crane hook in CTECH becomes the core material retrieval device for bridge cranes to lift and move materials.
Main functions:
- Connection and pickup: Connect the crane wire rope (or chain) to the object to be lifted, enabling the grasping of the heavy object.
- Lifting and lowering: The hook is controlled to move up and down through the driving of the lifting mechanism, completing the vertical handling of heavy objects.
- Safety guarantee: Equipped with a safety latch (lock catch) to prevent accidental unhooking of steel wire ropes or slings, thus avoiding accidental injuries.
Diversified homework:
- Main hook: Typically used for lifting heavy and large items.
- Auxiliary hook: It assists the main hook and is used for lifting lighter items, or cooperates with the main hook in special operations (such as ladle operations) to achieve precise dumping and positioning.
- Special lifting hooks: For example, C-shaped hooks are used for handling coils (steel coils, paper rolls), while electromagnetic hooks are used for lifting ferromagnetic metals (scrap steel, section steel).
Auxiliary function:
The rotating hook can rotate 360 degrees, enhancing loading and unloading efficiency and precision.
