Railway Lever Wedge Crane Brake

     Windproof iron wedge brake is a windproof device used for outdoor cranes and port machinery, which uses electric hydraulic thrusters to control the lifting and lowering of wedges to achieve braking effect.
     When in use, the switch between working state (lifting) and non working state (falling) is achieved through interlocking protection of power on and off. The main working environment is -20 ℃~50 ℃.  

Working principle: 

     When powered on, the push rod of the thruster quickly rises, and the iron wedge is lifted by the lever to release the brake. When the power is cut off, the push rod of the pusher, under the action of spring force, places the iron wedge on the track (or plane) through the linkage mechanism to achieve windproof braking. 

Action operation: 

     Enable/Work: The crane is powered on to start, and the iron wedge is automatically lifted; Shutdown/Windproof: The crane stops when the power is cut off, and the iron wedge automatically falls down.
Notes:
     Timing: To avoid unnecessary impact on the iron wedge, it should be dropped only after the crane has come to a complete stop.
     Interlocking: A release limit switch should be installed to achieve interlocking protection between mechanical action and electrical system.
     Environment: In rainy or snowy weather or environments with corrosive gases, anti-corrosion products should be used.
Maintenance: Keep the self-lubricating bearings of the swing hinge well lubricated.
