Debugging and Setting Methods for Communication Electromagnetic Brakes
Top rod adjustment: Adjust the screw at the front end of the electromagnetic brake to ensure that the top rod has enough length to support the electromagnet, so that the brake shoe can be completely released.
Spring pressure adjustment: Adjust the main spring screw to ensure that the brake has sufficient spring force (i.e. braking torque).
Gap adjustment: Adjust the screw at the lower end of the electromagnet to ensure that the electromagnet has a reasonable suction stroke when powered on, and the gap between the brake shoes is moderate when powered off.
Gap between brake pads: Ensure that the gap between the brake pads and the brake wheel surface is uniform, and avoid the pads floating against the brake wheel when the brake is released.
Maintenance and upkeep
Check the brake pads: The brake pads are equipped with replaceable asbestos brake bands. If the brake bands are severely worn, they should be replaced in a timely manner to ensure braking effectiveness.
Keep clean: The brake components should be kept clean, especially the electromagnetic suction surface and the surface of the brake wheel.
Lubrication: Regularly check whether each pin and moving part needs lubrication.
